Ousmane Sow never ceased to infuse his sculptures with a vibrant presence. Throughout his life, he refined a clay mixture that he invented himself, allowing him to model it at will. At the dawn of the 21st century, he adopted bronze. The millennial durability of this alloy provided him with a dazzling and enduring new field for experimentation.
